Lori Borrin, Vice President and Loan Officer, will relocate to our Main Office in Meredith. In addition, she and Pam Noble, Vice President and Loan Officer, have been promoted to expand their respective roles and responsibilities within the retail lending department.
In their new roles, Borrin and Noble will report to Carol Bickford, Senior Vice President and Retail Lending Officer, and will assume administrative, supervisory, and planning responsibilities within the retail lending department.
Scott Laurent, whose most recent title was Consumer Loan/Mortgage Loan Originator at the Main Office, has been promoted to Loan Officer, and will take Borrin’s place at the Center Harbor office. In his new role, Laurent will continue to help customers consider the best way to finance their new homes, and discuss with them the variety of loan options available through MVSB.

Scott has been a wonderful addition to the team for nearly five years now. His warm personality and lending expertise will surely be an invaluable asset to the Center Harbor office. Together, Borrin and Noble bring almost 42 years of MVSB organizational knowledge and experience to their new roles – most of which was spent serving the lending needs of our customers.
Borrin began her career at MVSB in 1993 as a part time-Teller at the bank’s Route 104 office in Meredith. She was transferred to the Main Office in 1994 as a full-time Teller, and was promoted to Assistant Head Teller in 1998, then Head Teller in 2000. Four years later, Borrin was promoted to Branch Supervisor, and later that year to Branch Manager. She took on the role of Loan Officer at the Main Office in early 2006, was promoted to Assistant Vice President and moved to the Center Harbor office in 2007. She was most recently promoted to Vice President and Loan Officer in 2009. Borrin is an active member of her community as a volunteer for Moultonborough/ Sandwich Senior Meals and the Circle Program. She is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and Leadership Lakes Region. Borrin lives in Moultonborough with her husband, Mark, and their son, Evan.
Noble joined MVSB for the second time in 1990 as a part time Teller at the bank’s Route 104 office. She was promoted to Customer Service Representative in 1993, and Vault Attendant and Customer Service Representative in 1994. Noble was promoted to Assistant Head Teller and transferred to the Center Harbor office in 1997, then promoted to Head Teller and transferred to the main office in 1998. In 2000, she began her career as a Loan Officer, and was promoted to assistant vice president and loan officer in 2002. Noble was most recently promoted to Vice President and Loan Officer in 2005. She is an active volunteer in her local community as a long-term planning committee member and past event co-chair for Lakes Region Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Noble also volunteers as the resource development committee chair for the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region. She attended Emmanuel College in Boston, and is a graduate of The New England School of Banking at Williams College and Leadership Lakes Region. Noble lives in Meredith with her husband, Thomas.
Born and raised in Laconia, Laurent attended Plymouth State University and joined the Bank in February 2008 as a Mortgage Loan Originator. In 2009, his title was changed to Consumer Loan/Mortgage Loan Originator to reflect his lending specialties. Laurent is an affiliate member of the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, and has served on its scholarship committee since 2009. He is currently President of the Laconia Kiwanis Club and an active volunteer with the Got Lunch! Laconia program. In his spare time, Laurent enjoys spending time with his four-year-old twins, Zack and Grace.
