We are pleased to announce the promotion of John Swedberg and Charlie Gorhan to Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. In this role, they will continue to assist New Hampshire businesses with their commercial lending needs.

John Swedberg joined MVSB as a Commercial Loan Officer in 1999 after working as a Commercial Loan Officer for the Pemigewasset National Bank in Plymouth, and a Commercial Credit Analyst for North Conway Bank and Dartmouth Bank. He was promoted to Vice President/ Commercial Loan Officer in 2000. Outside of the Bank, John has served his community as a coach of the Lakes Region Rebels AAU Basketball Club, coach and referee for the Bill Lamper Youth Basketball League, and as a member of the Winnipesaukee Transit System Advisory Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Plymouth State College.
Charlie Gorhan joined MVSB in 2009 as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, bringing with him more than 30 years of commercial lending experience, including the Pemigewasset National Bank and Concord Savings Bank. Having also owned a business for 9 years, Charlie has unique insight into the daily responsibilities and challenges central New Hampshire business owners face. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Monmouth College (University) and is a graduate of the American Banking Association National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma.
