MVSB is excited to once again sign on as a Business Member with Prescott Farm in Laconia. As a Business Member, the Bank and its employees enjoy a number of benefits, while also supporting Prescott Farm’s quality environmental education programs.
“We are pleased to have MVSB back for a second year as a Business Member and supporter of Prescott Farm,” stated Kimberly Drouin, Director of Marketing at Prescott Farm. “They were our first Business Member when we started offering this type of membership, and it has proved to be a great fit!”
As a Business Member of Prescott Farm businesses choose specific events or programs they would like to sponsor depending on their Business Membership level. This year MVSB will be sponsoring one of Prescott Farm’s WildQuest Summer Camp weeks, 5th Annual Harvest & Winter Festivals, WildQuest Winter Camp, Maple Sugar Madness and the Spring Polliwogs Pre-K Program in 2015.
“We appreciate all the support MVSB has given us over the years. It is great to work with an organization that is so involved in their community and values the kinds of programs Prescott Farm offers,” says Drouin.
Prescott Farm is a non-profit organization that offers environmental education for all ages throughout the year including WildQuest camps, public programs, field trips, and long-term partnerships with local elementary schools. The 160 acre historic family farm features woodland and field trails, a “green” building with geothermal and solar energy systems, historic barns, an old-fashioned maple sugaring operation (during the month of March), heritage gardens, and forested pond. Prescott Farm is open year round, seven days a week from 9:00 – 4:00PM. It is free to come and go for a hike or explore the “green” building!
