MVSB is pleased to announce the promotion of Cindy Hemeon-Plessner to Senior Vice President, Marketing Officer. The Bank is also pleased to congratulate Cindy on her recent graduation from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and The Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education Leadership Program. Graduation for both programs was held on June 12th at the University of Pennsylvania.
A member of the Bank’s senior management team, Cindy is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and communication strategy for MVSB as well as gathering and analyzing data to create products and services that best meet the needs of the customers and community the Bank serves. In addition to these responsibilities, she oversees the Bank’s Marketing Department and serves as Trustee of the James D. Sutherland Memorial Scholarship.

Cindy joined MVSB as Electronic Marketing Coordinator in December 2006, bringing more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience. She was instrumental in the launch of the Bank’s website and was promoted to Special Projects Coordinator in January 2008. She was promoted to Marketing Officer in November 2008, Assistant Vice President in October of 2009 and Vice President in August 2010. Cindy was promoted to her current role in 2014.
Cindy is an 2009 alumni of the Leadership Lakes Region program and was a member of the 2010-2011 Deluxe Collaborative, which is made up of financial services executives with the vision to explore topics critical to banking. She received a B.A. from The George Washington University in 1990 and holds a graduate degree in education from Franklin Pierce University.
A native of Laconia who resides in Gilford with her family, Cindy is a member of the Advisory Board at Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center and the Lakes Region Advisory Board for the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. She is a Corporator for the Belknap Economic Development Corporation, a St Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program Alumni Interviewer and is President of the Board of Directors for Lakes Region Child Care Services.
