After 5 years of dedicated service to Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), Charlie Gorhan, Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer will be retiring in early September.
Charlie joined MVSB in 2009 following a hiatus from a near 30-year banking career. During this time, he owned and operated a business in the Plymouth area.
Charlie began his career in banking as a bank auditor and later transitioned to commercial lending, working at a variety of New Hampshire banks, including Concord Savings Bank, Pemigewasset National Bank and Northway Bank. A New Hampshire resident since 1980, Charlie currently resides in Laconia with his wife, but has a wonderful retirement planned in a warmer climate.
“Charlie’s diverse experience in banking and entrepreneurship give him unique insight into the daily responsibilities and challenges that businesses face,” said Bob Sargeant, Executive Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender. “He has been an invaluable resource to MVSB and to so many of our local business customers over the last 5 years. We wish him all the best in his retirement.”
