The Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) Fund has awarded a $3,000 grant to Pemi-Baker Literacy, which is located within the Whole Village Family Resource Center in Plymouth. The organization will use the grant funds to purchase a new laptop computer and other expenses. The new laptop will provide them with enhanced access to the latest online study materials and tests. Friends of Carroll County Adult Tutorial Services Receives $5000 Grant
Friends of Carroll County Adult Tutorial Services was chosen as one of thirteen non-profit agencies across the greater Lakes Region to receive a grant from the Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) Charitable Fund in 2014. We are happy to support the Greater Meredith Program’s (GMP) Sculpture Walk with a $5000 contribution that will help maintain and update the display. As part of its mission to continue to beautify the Meredith community, the Greater Meredith Program began the Sculpture Walk project in the Fall of 2012. What began with just two sculptures displayed in the Courtyard on Main Street was expanded this year to a sculpture walk containing twenty-four unique works scattered throughout the downtown Meredith community. Got Lunch! Inter-Lakes Receives $5000 Grant from MVSB Fund
Got Lunch! Inter-Lakes was selected as one of thirteen local non-profit organizations to receive a grant from the Meredith Village Savings Bank Charitable Fund in 2014. The $5000 grant will help the organization with the cost of food and enable them to provide dairy vouchers to each participating family. Got Lunch! Inter-Lakes provides summer lunch supplies to the families of Inter-Lakes School District students, many of which would normally qualify for free and reduced-price lunches at school during the school year. We are excited to announce the winners of the Annual Community Photo Contest. The winning photos will appear on the Bank’s website and Facebook pages, as well as within the 2015 wall and desktop calendars and even as the Bank’s note and holiday cards.
