On Tuesday, May 24, we will be upgrading the alerts component of online banking to better unify our email and text message alert functionality and to provide several new alert options.
All alerts scheduled for the upgrade day will be sent as usual; however, online banking users will be unable to view, add or edit alerts between 9:00pm on Tuesday evening (May 24) and 2:00am on Wednesday morning (May 25). Text message banking users will also be unable to activate new phone numbers or receive responses to text message commands (such as BAL, LAST, TRANS, etc.) during this timeframe.
The upgrade will provide alert users with a simplified set-up process, the ability to add personal messages to alerts, and the following alert options:
- Balance Update
- Check Cleared
- High Balance
- New! Large Deposit
- New! Large Withdrawal
- New! Loan Payment Due
- New! Loan Payment Overdue
- Low Balance
- Maturity Date
- New! Personal Reminders
Text message alerts have been enhanced to provide users with the ability to set up alerts for more than one account, and users with more than one cell phone number can also configure alerts to be sent to one or all of the phone numbers on file. All balance alerts can now be set up for the day and frequency of the user’s preference.
Alerts are generally initiated at 5:00 am – this ensures the information is received early in the day so that you have sufficient time to coordinate finances throughout the day. If an alert fails, the system will try to send the alert again at 12:00 noon and then 5:00pm.
Standard text and data fees may apply for text message alerts. Please contact your cellular service provider for details.
