Paul M. Provost has assumed the role of President of MillRiver Wealth Management (MillRiver) effective June 27, 2016. He was named Executive Vice President of MillRiver upon its formation in April 2015. Lakes Region Cupcakes, located on 285 Main Street in Tilton, recently re-opened under new ownership. Melody Hanks, of Mel’s Creative Cakes, acquired Lakes Region Cupcakes in May 2016 with financing help from Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) and Belknap County Economic Development Council. Lakes Region Cupcakes, featuring Mel’s Creative Cakes, re-opened on June 4th. The Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation granted $10,000 to Ashland Elementary School for the purchase and installation of new playground equipment, replacing an outdated playset that was also in poor condition. On Tuesday, May 24, we will be upgrading the alerts component of online banking to better unify our email and text message alert functionality and to provide several new alert options.  All alerts scheduled for the upgrade day will be sent as usual; however, online banking users will be unable to view, add or edit alerts between 9:00pm on Tuesday evening (May 24) and 2:00am on Wednesday morning (May 25).
