The latest version of the MVSB Mobile App was released to the app stores on Tuesday, September 19, and is expected to be available to all users by the end of the week. While the updates in this release are minor, we always recommend updating to the latest version of the app to ensure the highest level of security and functionality.
Here are a few changes you may notice in the latest release:
Apple (iOS) and Android Apps
- User Enhancement Settings: you can now manage your own account settings under My Settings (for example, updating an email address or phone number). The setting screen is the same as the screen used within online banking. You will still need to log into online banking to make any changes to Rename and Hide Accounts, Alerts & Notifications and Text Banking.
- Transaction Search: you can now search your transaction history like you can in online banking. To do this, simply drag on the transaction view (for iOS) or tap the magnifying glass (for Android) to show the search bar. From there, you are able to enter a term or amount for a specific transaction.
Apple (iOS) Only
- Quick Balance Widget Updates: Quick Balance and widget functions have been enhanced to allow you to re-order and hide account accounts.
Android App Only
- New Version of Android Widget: a refresh button has been added. Also, the new app contains a list view that matches what’s currently available in iOS. You can also access updated balances without having to wait for the 12-hour refresh period.
