We are excited to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Brothers to Mortgage Loan Officer NMLS #69282. In this role, Brothers will serve Alton, Gilford, Wakefield, Wolfeboro and surrounding communities in assisting clients with their home lending needs.
Brothers most recently served as the Bank’s Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Strategy Officer and has held multiple roles in mortgage lending throughout her career.

Susan “Sue” Ross, mortgage loan originator NMLS# 165861, recently announced her retirement after 14 years of dedicated service at MVSB. Ross earned recognition as one of the top mortgage loan officers within the local communities she served. Brothers has been working with Ross to ensure the continued delivery of the high quality mortgage lending experience that customers have come to know.
Brothers joined MVSB in 2020 as Mortgage Sales Support Manager, where she supported and guided the mortgage origination team with loan structuring, industry guidelines, regulatory changes and system proficiencies. She implemented a number of strategic initiatives in mortgage lending, enhancing the customer’s experience. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2021.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Brothers has a passion for supporting young people in our communities. For the past six years, she has volunteered her time with the Santa Fund of the Greater Lakes Region and she currently serves as Co-Chair for the organization. In 2019, she received the Debra Bieniarz Memorial Award in recognition of her tremendous service to young people in the Lakes Region.
Brothers grew up in Laconia and graduated from the Granite State College with an Associate of Business Science. She also attended Northern New England School of Banking. She loves being a part of her community and enjoys the beauty of New Hampshire.
