We are proud to name Melissa Clark as Branch Services Supervisor for the Bank’s new Rochester Branch set to open in early June at 21 Farmington Road (Route 11). Clark previously served in the same position at MVSB’s Portsmouth Branch since 2017 and will help oversee day-to-day operations and customer service.
“I grew up in Rochester and I am excited to be back in the same wonderful city that helped shape me,” said Clark. “Being a part of the opening of a new branch gives me the unique opportunity to help expand the Bank and to promote MVSB’s community-minded banking approach throughout the area.”
“Melissa has been such an amazing asset to our Portsmouth branch and I am glad to have her join the team in Rochester,” said Jolene Whitehead, Rochester Branch and Business Development Manager. “We’ve had the pleasure of working together these last few months making connections and getting to know our local business owners and nonprofits in the area. I know her experience and compassionate nature will be an asset to our customers and will help us deepen our roots in the community.”
Clark volunteers at the Monarch School of New England and is eager to seek out new volunteer opportunities as she gets settled into her new location. In her free time, she enjoys improv comedy, singing and performing theatre.
MVSB has locations throughout the greater Lakes Region and opened its Portsmouth branch in 2017, expanding its footprint to the Seacoast. The Bank’s new Rochester location will bridge a geographic gap between its two nearest locations in Alton and Portsmouth, offering added convenience for current banking customers who live in and around the Rochester area or who travel or commute between the Lakes Region and Seacoast areas.
