Nicole Ames, Mortgage Loan Officer
We are excited to announce that Nicole Ames has joined the residential lending team as a Mortgage Loan Officer (NMLS #2370119). Based out of the Bank’s new Rochester Branch at 21 Farmington Road (Route 11), she will assist customers throughout the home buying, construction or refinance process.

Outside of work, Ames volunteers her time with Battle Buddies, a nonprofit that adopts, trains and rehomes dogs in animal shelters to become service dogs to veterans with PTSD. This nonprofit is dear to her, as she has a strong military background in her family, including a daughter currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. In addition, she regularly volunteers at local fundraisers supporting Veterans. She is also a member of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
Ames resides in Acton, Maine, with her husband of 18 years, Bruce, and daughter, Jocelyn. She enjoys cooking, fishing, traveling, and horseback riding.
MVSB has locations throughout the Lakes Region and opened its Portsmouth branch in 2017 to expand its footprint in the Seacoast region. The new Rochester location will bridge a geographic gap between MVSB’s two nearest locations in Alton and Portsmouth, offering added convenience for current banking customers who live closer to the Rochester area or who travel between the Lakes Region and Seacoast.
