We are pleased to welcome Scott Weden as Corporator for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), the shared services organization for MVSB. His appointment was confirmed by vote at NHMB’s 2024 Annual Meeting.
Weden currently serves as the Town Manager and Emergency Management Director for the Town of Plymouth and has a lengthy career serving local communities through his work.
“I was drawn to the opportunity to join on as Corporator because of the Bank’s commitment to serving the community and their passion for going above and beyond for local residents and municipalities,” said Scott. “Their employees are top notch – always greeting everyone with a smile and providing great care. It is exciting to help support MVSB in any way I can.”
Scott volunteers his time with the Town of Plymouth Beautification Committee as well as Operation Santa Claus, a program that provides gifts to nearly 300 New Hampshire children. He was also recently awarded the President’s Community Partner Award by Plymouth State University.
Corporators help ensure the success of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) and its sister companies – Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, NHTrust and Savings Bank of Walpole. They elect NHMB Board of Trustees members and act on any bylaw changes that come before them. In addition, Corporators can act in part as community representatives to ensure that the organization is on track in regards to serving community needs and providing first-hand impressions of the quality of services.
