New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) is pleased to welcome Jaime L. Frederes as SVP & Residential Lending Officer. Frederes is stepping in for retiring SVP & Residential Lending Officer, Mark Danahy.
Frederes will be responsible for continuing to lead and oversee the development and growth of the residential lending department, and directing and managing residential lending activities aligned with the organization’s strategic plan, culture and core values. Frederes will be the residential loan visionary and strategist for the senior management team and will work with department leaders in Deposits, Commercial Lending, Operations and Trust to help manage the customer relationship and ensure their experience is provided in a cohesive manner by NHMB and its affiliate organizations, MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank), Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), Savings Bank of Walpole, and NHTrust, .
“Jaime has over 30 years of experience in the area of residential lending and will be a great asset to our team,” said Jason Hicks, EVP & Chief Financial and Risk Officer at NHMB. “We continue to grow as an organization and having someone as knowledgeable as Jaime to provide his insights will support our efforts to make informed decisions and improve customer experiences within residential lending.”
Prior to joining NH Mutual Bancorp, Frederes was VP Area Lending Manager for Bank of America and more recently SVP Residential & Consumer Lending Officer for Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.
He received his Bachelors in Finance degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Currently, Frederes is Chair for the Mortgage Committee of the NH Bankers Association. He was past President of Mortgage Bankers Association for Genesee Region, NY, a member of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors Bar Committee in Rochester, NY, a volunteer for the Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation in Rochester, NY and was on the Board of Governors for the Mortgage Bankers and Brokers Association of NH.
Having moved from Western NY in 2017, Frederes enjoys spending his free time with his wife, son and dog Stella. He likes hiking and golf and is also a certified scuba diver.
