The annual Laconia Multicultural Festival will take place Sept. 7 from 10 am-3 pm in downtown Laconia and will feature a celebration of worldwide music, arts, crafts and cuisine for the public to enjoy. We are proud to support the event as the City Hall Stage Sponsor. Bank employees will also volunteer at the event hosting a selfie station with a butterfly backdrop celebrating diversity in our communities.
“We are excited to feature so many diverse participants and programs this year, including the International Flag Parade, Wonderful World of Dogs Show, live music, children’s crafts, food, exotic animals and more,” said Becky Guyer, Co-Director of the Laconia Multicultural Festival. “We are grateful to the support we have received from the community and our sponsors and we hope to see everyone there.”
“The Festival is a long-running tradition in Laconia and we are proud to be a part of this unique celebration that highlights the different cultures and traditions in our local communities,” said Jessica Ruel, MVSB Branch & Business Development Manager.
The Laconia Multicultural Festival started in 2001 and celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Laconia and the Lakes Region. It was conceived and supported by the Laconia Human Relations Committee. Go to laconiamulticulturalfestival.org to learn more.
