Debra “Deb” Sturgeon has been promoted to oversee the MVSB Center Harbor Office as Branch and Business Development Manager. In this role, she will support the location’s customers, employees and community involvement initiatives. Deb previously served as Branch Services Supervisor at the same location and takes the place of Marc Fils-Aime, who recently transitioned to oversee a branch office at MVSB’s sister bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank.
“Deb has been serving MVSB customers for over 25 years and is well regarded by her staff, customers and community – making her a wonderful choice for this role,” said Jill White, MVSB Regional Vice President. “She is committed to maintaining the high level of service and care expected at MVSB and promote the Bank’ values that she has embodied throughout her time here.”
“I thoroughly enjoy being a part of MVSB and growing in this role,” said Deb. “I have personally experienced the Bank’s investment in its employees through growth and development opportunities. I truly enjoy serving our customers, supporting local nonprofits and growing relationships in this wonderful community.”
Deb started at MVSB in 1999 and has served as Head Teller, Customer Service Representative, Branch Services Supervisor and Branch Services Manager. She is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking program and holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Nashua Community College.
Deb has also dedicated countless hours to the community though her volunteer work with the Center Harbor Parks & Recreation Department, the Center Harbor Soup Kitchen, the Moultonborough Santa Fund and the Salvation Army. She resides in Moultonborough and enjoys bird watching, sewing, quilting and spending time with family.
