The Seacoast Science Center in Rye will host its annual Rescue Run: Race for Marine Mammals on April 19, with MVSB serving as the presenting sponsor. In honor of the grand opening of our new branch office in Settler’s Crossing in North Conway, the community was invited to vote for a local nonprofit to receive a special $1,000 donation. Many nonprofits were nominated, but it was Eastern Slope Ski Club (ESSC) that received the most votes in the contest. We are proud to announce that the 2024 ‘Paintings for a Purpose’ art show raised $11,500 from the sale of art and donations. The art show featured paintings from local watercolor artist Dr. Marc Bard and wildlife photographer Dr. John Ingard, and ran throughout the summer at the Bank’s Meredith and Wolfeboro branch offices. Three donations were split amongst four local nonprofits: End 68 Hours of Hunger – Wolfeboro Area, Kingswood Youth Center, Restoration Acres Farm and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire.
