The MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) Fund at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has awarded $124,500 in grant funding to 39 local nonprofit organizations. This includes $108,500 donated to 23 local agencies and $16,000 to 16 area food pantries. We recently purchased $17,500 in tax credits through the Community Development Authority (CDFA) to support the Warner House Association’s Carriage House Project. The project is aimed to construct a replica of the 18th Century Carriage House in downtown Portsmouth, which was demolished in the 1960s. The Carriage House will feature a meeting room, rotating exhibits, staging area for outdoor events and an archaeology collection.
