Eastern Slope Ski Club Receives Most Nominations in MVSB’s Vote for Your Favorite Nonprofit Contest
In honor of the grand opening of our new branch office in Settler’s Crossing in North Conway, the community was invited to vote for a local nonprofit to receive a special $1,000 donation. Many nonprofits were nominated, but it was Eastern Slope Ski Club (ESSC) that received the most votes in the contest. ESSC promotes skiing and riding in the Mount Washington Valley and provides instructional on-snow days for both downhill and cross-country skiing as well as snowboarding. Paintings for a Purpose Raises Over $11,000 for Local Nonprofits
We are proud to announce that the 2024 ‘Paintings for a Purpose’ art show raised $11,500 from the sale of art and donations. The art show featured paintings from local watercolor artist Dr. Marc Bard and wildlife photographer Dr. John Ingard, and ran throughout the summer at the Bank’s Meredith and Wolfeboro branch offices. Three donations were split amongst four local nonprofits: End 68 Hours of Hunger – Wolfeboro Area, Kingswood Youth Center, Restoration Acres Farm and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire. The Mountain Top Music Center, which operates the Majestic Theatre and Café in Conway, recently received tax credits from the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) to further its mission of enriching lives and building community by providing inspiring music education and performance and listening opportunities.
