The event will be held this Saturday morning, October 13th at 9 AM, with both courses beginning on North Main Street in Laconia near the Smith Track at Opechee Park. The scholarship is awarded annually to one graduating senior from high schools located in towns where MVSB has a branch: Plymouth Regional High School, Moultonborough Academy, Inter-Lakes High School, Kingswood Regional High School, Laconia High School, Prospect Mountain High School and Gilford High School. Thanks to funding from Meredith Village Savings Bank, Meredith now has new “Welcome to Meredith Signs.” These town welcome signs were recently placed at the four main entrances into Meredith – on Route 104, Route 3 North and South and Route 25. The Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce oversaw and managed the project, which was done in commemoration of the town’s 250th anniversary this year. Locals and residents of Portsmouth, NH recently chose Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra as their favorite nonprofit in the “Vote for your Favorite Nonprofit” contest. Hosted by Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), the contest took place between April and June, and asked Portsmouth community members to vote for the charitable organization that enriches their city the most.
