On Thursday, August 25, Apple released an important software update for iOS 9.3.5 that patches recently identified vulnerabilities that have put iPhone and iPad devices at high risk for malware. The patch aims to protect users from a new malware, referred to as “Trident” that allows attackers to see almost everything on the victim’s device, including reading text messages, recording calls, turning on the phone’s camera and microphone and tracking your location.
