We are pleased to announce a $3,795 donation to Lakes Region Humane Society (LRHS) of Ossipee. We are pleased to announce the April selections for the MVSB Book of the Month Program from our ten local libraries. The MVSB Book of the Month program seeks to foster the joy of reading and lifelong learning for people of all ages. MVSB donates funds to allow local libraries to purchase and promote books for adults and children. Participating libraries each receive an annual $500 donation to purchase two or more books each month to be displayed on their shelves as MVSB Books of the Month. Inter-Lakes Elementary School’s “Living Classroom” Greenhouse Project
MVSB’s recent donation of $2500 to Inter-Lakes Elementary School’s (ILES) Living Classroom greenhouse project has put the school even closer to its fundraising goal of $65,000. Beware of Netflix Email Scam
The American Bankers Association has issued an alert regarding a phishing scam aimed at Netflix customers. Victims have received an email appearing to be from Netflix stating that there is a problem with their account and they are encouraged to click on the link provided. Once clicked, they are directed to a fictitious Netflix website and are told that their account has been suspended and they should contact member services. Once connected, victims are told that their Netflix account has been hijacked and that by downloading a series of security software, the problem can be fixed.
