Construction on our new banking office at 1498 White Mountain Highway in North Conway has begun. Brian Chalmers, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, will retire from MVSB in May after 34 years of dedicated service supporting the Bank, local businesses and the community. Chalmers joined MVSB in 1990 as the Branch Manager for MVSB’s newly opened Meredith Route 104 office, and transitioned to oversee the Ashland office in 1991. He became the Bank’s first Business Development Officer in 1998, where he worked to develop relationships with business owners, municipalities and nonprofits. We are excited to announce that we will be opening three floating ‘branch on a boat’ offices this summer that will set sail on Lake Winnipesaukee, Conway Lake and in Portsmouth Harbor. Boaters, windsurfers and those who live around the islands can hop on from the water or visit us at one of our many dock stops throughout the day.
