$4300 Grant Will Help Pay for Energy Efficiency Improvements at Gordon-Nash Library in New Hampton
MVSB Fund is pleased award a $4300 grant to the Gordon-Nash Library in New Hampton. These funds will be used by the library to make energy efficiency improvements to their building. A recent energy audit of the Gordon-Nash Library revealed that a 1961 building addition was an area of energy loss for the facility. To help control energy costs, improvements to insulation and air sealing in the building were strongly recommended. Almost a rite of spring, MVSB’s Annual Photo Contest has returned! Now through Friday, July 26, 2013, we will be accepting full-color photography entries for consideration for inclusion in our 2014 Community Calendar and website, www.mvsb.com. In addition, Community Calendar entries may also be selected to be used for MVSB’s holiday cards and/or note cards. Whether amateur or professional, all photographers are encouraged to submit their favorite photos representing the many flavors of the Belknap, Carroll and Grafton counties. Due to system maintenance, a service interruption is expected for the MVSB Online Mortgage Center on Friday, May 3rd. The down time is expected to occur between the hours of 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM. During this time, customers will not be able to access any portion of the Online Mortgage Center, including mortgage rates. $7600 Grant Will Support Phase Two of Trail Improvements at Quincy Bog in Rumney
