Jim joined MVSB as Branch & Business Development Manager for our Portsmouth office when it opened in 2017. With his natural leadership skills and more than 10 years of banking experience, it was only a matter of time before he would be promoted to Regional Vice President for the MVSB Seacoast Region. In his new role, Jim oversees Rochester and Portsmouth – and will take the lead for any future branches in the Seacoast.
Jim, his wife and two kids live on a licensed wildlife sanctuary and he’s often known by customers and colleagues to share his expertise of all things green and growing. Jim firmly believes it takes a village to ensure the success of our local communities.
As a result, he’s very active with local nonprofits, volunteering with the United Way, Krempels Center, Monarch School of New England, PARMA Music Festival, SCORE and the Seacoast Science Center. In addition, he is an alumnus of Leadership Seacoast Class and the Hoffman-Hass Fellowship Program through the NH Center for Nonprofits. Jim studied Business and Communications at Southern New Hampshire University.

Jolene and her family proudly call the beautiful city of Rochester home and she is excited to be the new Branch & Business Development Manager of the new Rochester office. A proud Mom of six very tall and athletic sons, Jolene understands the challenges of being a parent and a business woman today. She has really enjoyed getting to know the leaders and staff at many local businesses and nonprofits as she reached out to make community connections while the branch was under construction.
She looks forward to volunteering at local organizations and recently volunteered with InTown Concord, the Greater Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Waterville Valley Business Association. She’s also an Ambassador for the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Directors for the Monarch School of New England, is an active member of the Rochester Rotary, and is part of the Spaulding High School Focus Group.
Julie Clement

Julie began her MVSB career in our Portsmouth Office when it opened in 2017 and was recently promoted to a significant leadership role as a result of her proven success and commitment to local businesses. Julie heads the Business Development team for all of MVSB – ensuring that business clients receive the excellent services and support that they expect from us. Julie has more than two decades of experience in the financial industry and is committed to working with others to continuously improve the local experience for all.
She is a graduate of Leadership Seacoast and volunteers much of her time with the Pro Portsmouth Board of Directors, the Rotary Club of Hampton and its Charitable Foundation, the Salvation Army, the Seacoast Task Force on Family Violence, the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth.

Traynor lives and works with boundless energy and enthusiasm. An avid skier, motocross rider and mountain biker, he brings the same level of hard work, dedication and quick thinking to his business loan clients. As one of the newest members of the Rochester team, Traynor has been working from the Alton and Meredith offices and getting to know local business owners while awaiting the opening of the new office. Traynor studied at Southern New Hampshire University and lives and bikes in beautiful New Durham.

Nicole is new to MVSB, but she is an experienced Mortgage Loan Program Specialist. She has access to a wide range of programs and competitive rates for those looking to buy, build, improve or refinance a home. She knows the market and the neighborhoods, and she will work hard to get to know you so she can meet your needs.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys cooking, fishing, traveling, and horseback riding. She is currently involved with Battle Buddies, a nonprofit that adopts, trains and rehomes dogs in animal shelters to become service dogs to veterans with PTSD. This nonprofit is dear to Nicole, as she has a strong military background in her family, including a daughter currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. In addition, she regularly volunteers at local fundraisers aimed at supporting veterans.

If Mel looks familiar to you, it’s possible that you’ve seen her sharing her passion for comedy and music on the stage as she performs around the Seacoast. Like several members ofthe Rochester team, Mel began her MVSB career at the Portsmouth Office, which she joined the year it opened in 2017. As Branch Services Supervisor, she’ll work with Jolene to ensure that the Rochester team is well prepared to meet the needs of customers and the community. She and Jolene have enjoyed visiting local businesses and nonprofits in the area while awaiting the opening of the office. She looks forward to greeting them as customers in the branch and at their businesses.
Mel is an active volunteer with the Monarch School of New England and is eager to seek out new volunteer opportunities as she gets settled in at her new branch office. In addition, she earned degrees in social work, counseling and American studies from Franklin Pierce University.

A member of the Portsmouth team since 2018, Kristina is looking forward to supporting the Rochester area. Kristina has three dogs and loves spending time with them – and her human family too! Kristina is an alumnus of the Master Teller Program at the Center of Financial Technologies and brings a decade of experience to the Rochester community.
Kristina has many interests, including crafting, reading, baking, gardening, visiting the beach and traveling. She’s also earned an Associate of Liberal Arts from Northern Essex Community College.

In addition to serving as a Universal Banker, Elen is co-owner of Don’t Stop the Party Entertainment, which specializes in private parties, weddings and other events. As DJ Snuggles, Elen is a beat-mixing “mixtress,” seamlessly mixing multiple genres. As a banker, she also provides the perfect mix of compassionate and knowledgeable service with each customer she assists. Elen has been supporting customers at the Portsmouth Office since 2021 and looks forward to working with the Rochester community.
