Build the home of your dreams.
Building a new home can be even more exciting – and challenging – than finding an existing home to purchase. And the financing works differently too. With in-house construction specialists, MVSB works with with you every step of the way, helping to ensure your project stays on timeline and in budget. We even have the expertise to help with unique projects like island, waterfront and mountainside homes.
Just one closing.
The process of financing the construction of your new home has two phases – construction and mortgage. At MVSB, you can secure the loan with one convenient closing. While your house is being built, you pay only interest on construction costs as they are drawn. When construction is complete, the loan switches to a traditional principal and interest loan with the same rate and term you originally closed on.
Are you a first-time home buyer?
As a first-time buyer, you may qualify for a number of special programs, such as New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, Federal Housing Administration and/or Rural Economic Development Loans. Our lenders can help you find the right program and guide you every step of the way.
